She was raised in Brantford alongside her twin sister Brittany and brother Anthony.Andrea was quite young when her parents enrolled her for training in figure skating, dancing, and musical theatre.She was 15 years old when she auditioned for the lead role of Casey Carlyle in the figure skating film Ice Princess. However, she lost out to American actress and model Michelle Trachtenberg. Despite her loss of the role, she gained a representative.Andrea can speak French very fluently.Despite having started her career in 2006, she did not get her big break until the year 2015, when she was cast as Nurse Faith Carter in When Calls The Heart.She has a dog named Oisin.Initially, Andrea had auditioned for the role of Maggie Sawyer (Portrayed by American actress Floriana Lima).
